Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains how payments, pricing, and paid digital items (such as "Coins" or other virtual items) work on the Talksy website and mobile application (the "Platform"). This policy is intended to be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.


Important: Coins and other virtual items are digital goods. They do not have real-world monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are intended only for use within the Platform.

1. Definitions

  • "Coins" means virtual credits or a similar digital item made available on the Platform for access to features, digital services, or other in-app functionality.
  • "Purchase" means buying Coins/subscriptions/paid features through the Platform, app stores, payment gateways, or other authorized payment methods.
  • "Wallet" means any in-app balance of Coins/credits (if applicable).

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

To make purchases on Talksy, you must be eligible to use the Platform under our Terms. You are responsible for all activity on your account, including any purchases made using your device, account credentials, payment method, or app store account.

  • Keep your login credentials confidential.
  • If you suspect unauthorized purchases, contact us promptly (see Section 11).

3. Pricing, Taxes, and Displayed Amounts

Prices for Coins, subscriptions, or other paid features are displayed at the point of purchase. Prices may vary depending on your location, currency, taxes, platform fees, and payment method.

  • Applicable taxes (including GST/VAT or similar taxes) may be included in the price or added at checkout, as required by law.
  • We may change prices, offerings, and promotional pricing at any time. Any change will apply prospectively.

4. Payment Methods and Payment Processors

Purchases may be processed through third-party payment processors (including app stores such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, or online payment gateways). Billing terms and refund handling may differ depending on where the purchase is completed.

  • If you purchase through an app store, the payment is processed by that app store and may be governed by its terms and policies.
  • We do not store full card details. Payment data is handled by the relevant payment processor, subject to their security practices.

5. Delivery and Use of Coins / Digital Items

After a successful payment confirmation, Coins (or other digital items) are typically credited to your account promptly. In rare cases, delivery may be delayed due to technical issues, pending verification, or platform-specific processing.

  • Coins can only be used within Talksy for features made available by us.
  • Coins cannot be transferred to other accounts unless an official feature permits it.
  • We may adjust, suspend, or remove Coins credited in error or obtained through fraud or policy violations.

6. Subscription Plans (If Applicable)

If the Platform offers subscriptions, the following terms apply unless otherwise stated at checkout:

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through the method used to subscribe (e.g., app store subscription settings). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
  • Changes: We may change subscription pricing or benefits, with notice where required by law.

7. Refunds and Chargebacks

Because Coins and other digital items are delivered instantly or near-instantly, all sales are generally final and non-refundable, unless required by applicable law or a specific refund policy applies through the app store/payment provider.


Refund exceptions (may apply):

  • Duplicate charges caused by a billing error.
  • Non-delivery of Coins due to a confirmed technical fault where we cannot deliver or restore the purchased items.
  • Unauthorized transactions (subject to verification and timely reporting).
  • Any other scenario where a refund is required under applicable consumer protection laws.

Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback may result in your account being temporarily suspended during investigation, and/or restriction of further purchases. If a chargeback is found to be fraudulent or abusive, we may take appropriate action under the Terms.

8. Failed, Pending, or Reversed Payments

If a payment fails, is reversed, is flagged for risk review, or is later charged back, we may (where applicable):

  • Not deliver the Coins / subscription benefits; or
  • Remove or adjust Coins/benefits previously delivered; and/or
  • Restrict your ability to make further purchases.

We may ask for additional verification where necessary to complete a purchase safely.

9. Promotions, Discounts, and Bonus Coins

We may offer promotions from time to time (e.g., discounted bundles, bonus Coins). Promotional terms may include expiry dates, eligibility rules, and usage limits. Promotional Coins/bonuses may not be refundable and may expire if stated in the promotion.

10. Policy Violations, Fraud, and Abuse

We may suspend or terminate accounts, and/or revoke Coins and paid benefits, if we reasonably believe that purchases or Coin usage involve fraud, abuse, chargeback manipulation, policy violations, or other prohibited conduct.

12. Changes to This Payment Policy

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our offerings, billing processes, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
